Still Processing explores how people and technology translate data into meaning. How do we navigate between the rational and the emotional? The exhibition delves into the flattening of images, the mental imprints left by moving light, and how AI evolves digitally created worlds and characters.
Spread across seven large-scale, immersive installations and three smaller transitional spaces, Still Processing guides visitors through the different stages of image perception and transformation. Seven visionary artists invite you to step inside shifting landscapes of movement, light, sound, and evolving digital forms.
The exhibition weaves together two interconnected themes:
1. How technology shapes and manipulates the images we see.
2. How the human brain processes movement, light, and sound to construct meaning.
Like a computer, the human mind continually processes a flood of information, blending cognitive, emotional, and physiological threads. In parallel, technology processes realities — often obscuring the mechanisms behind what we see and believe. As digital systems mediate our world, objectivity dissolves into layers of unseen decisions.
Still Processing offers a rare pause. It’s a quiet, in-between space where understanding and emotion intertwine.
It invites reflection, embracing the moments when something profound, unexpected, or deeply personal demands time to settle into clarity.
