When it comes to the youngest amongst us, Nxt Museum is enjoyed by children of all age groups. However, many of our artworks and installations are housed within dark rooms with loud sounds, some strong language, nudity, and flashing videos. Be aware: one artwork in this exhibition contains sexual scenes and nudity. Please keep this in mind when considering if you’d like to bring young children.
Children from the age of 12 may visit the Museum without being accompanied by an adult. However, they cannot supervise young children. Parents and guardians of unaccompanied children aged 12 to 18 are responsible and accountable for the behaviour of their children at all times.
In the museum
Most visitors spent about 1 to 1 1/2 hours in the exhibition. We recommend that you take as much time as you’d like- stay as long as you wish, up until we close!
Feel free to capture your visit with your phone. Professional photography gear(cameras with changeable lenses) and accessories (tripods, flash, etc) are not allowed in the space.
Coats and small bags are allowed in the museum, but we kindly ask you to store large bags and backpacks if you bring any. We do not have space to store large suitcases or other luggage.
Nxt Museum offers free guest Wifi to its visitors and we advise our visitors using the guest wifi to not transmit their credit card information, passwords, and any other sensitive personal information.
Food and drinks are not allowed within the exhibition. The installations on show rely on high tech equipment that is highly sensitive.
No, we do not allow dogs in the museum, unless they are Guide Dogs. We do not think furry friends would appreciate the levels of sound and flashing lights as much as you will.
POAPs are collectible digital tokens that are saved on the blockchain. Minted like an NFT the 3 POAPs enable unique benefits, in the future! These collectibles can be found hidden around the museum and are fun to hunt for. You can easily collect them via your email address or store them in your digital wallet.
