Visual Frequencies brings together uncompromising pioneers of industrial and minimal techno, innovators in modular and ambient electronics, and new generations exploring cinematic, narrative-driven, and club-rooted sounds. Each night pairs music with real-time visual worlds—from AI-driven lightscapes to sculptural installations and posthumous projections—transforming the museum into an evolving stage where sound and image shape one another. Audiences will encounter world premieres, rare reunions, and first-time collaborations that connect dancehall-infused club experiments, acid legacies, and leftfield techno.

Visual Frequencies creates a living survey of electronic culture: how it remembers, resists, and reinvents itself. By weaving together international icons and Dutch experimenters, improvisation and choreography, intensity and reflection, Nxt offers ADE a programme that is not only a celebration of genres but also a testament to their capacity for transformation when sound, vision, and audience meet on equal terms.
