Be the first to play Tales of Two, a new interactive installation at Nxt Museum. 3D animation studio YONK and Nxt invite visitors into a new kind of digital puppetry, where an age-old tradition is reimagined for the present day. 

Instead of watching from a distance, visitors become co-creators by guiding the characters on screen through simple gestures that gradually unfold into shared stories.

About the artists

YONK is a 3D animation studio based in The Hague, founded by artists Niels van der Donk (b. 1992, NL) and Victoria Young (b. 1995, UK). With a playful and experimental approach, YONK brings a human presence into the digital realm, favouring personality and imperfection over polish or automation.

Their work centres on expressive characters and vivid, tactile worlds, often shaped with innovative tools such as VR sculpting. Guided by an ethos of openness, YONK aims to make 3D creation more accessible, inviting others to explore, experiment and play.
