Please note: Nxt Museum is the venue. The events are organised by external promoters, who also sell the tickets.
Questions about tickets, refunds, the line-up and times are therefore best put directly to the promoter. Below the answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Can’t find your question? Then email it to ade@nxtmuseum.com. We will reply within 24 hours on working days.
You can find the full house rules and visitor terms and conditions here.
For all questions about tickets, we refer you to the organiser of the event. This includes buying tickets, a ticket that has not arrived, reselling a ticket or transferring it to another name, refunds, door sales, the guest list, and changes, postponements or cancellations of the programme. The overview above shows who to contact for each event. For events by external promoters, we have no access to ticket data and, unfortunately, cannot help you with these matters.
Only buy or sell tickets via the organiser’s official ticket shop or official resale platform. Tickets obtained through other channels may be invalid and will not grant entry.
What is the minimum age and which ID do I need to bring?
All events are 18+, unless stated otherwise. Bring a valid, original proof of identity: a passport, identity card, driving licence or residence permit. A photo or copy is not valid. We may also ask to see your ID during the event.
Can I get in with my ADE Pro pass?
Yes, as long as there is capacity for ADE Pro pass holders. If the venue is full, a one-in-one-out policy applies. Please therefore arrive on time.
I am on the guest list. What do I need to be aware of?
A place on the guest list is personal and is only valid with a valid ID in your name, up to the communicated time. At the door, we make no exceptions for anyone who has not been registered in advance.
Until what time can I enter?
The door closes two hours before the announced closing time. After that, you will not be admitted, even with a ticket.
Please note for No Art Festival After by Night: on the night of Saturday 24 to Sunday 25 October, the clocks go back one hour at 03:00, to 02:00. The event ends at 05:00 winter time, so the door closes at 03:00 winter time.
For Earth Sonic Live, last entry is at 20:00.
May I leave and re-enter during the event?
No. Anyone who leaves the venue, including the fenced-off outdoor area, cannot re-enter.
How does the check at the entrance work?
On entry, security will check your clothing and your bag. Anyone who does not cooperate will be refused entry.
What am I not allowed to bring?
Items that are not permitted include:
A small bag or bum bag is allowed, as long as it fits in a locker: maximum 29 x 40 x 22 cm (width x depth x height). Prohibited items will be confiscated and not kept.
May I bring prescribed medication?
Yes, for personal use, in the original packaging and with a prescription or medical statement in your name. Declare it at the check at the entrance.
Dress code
We love self-expression, but we do apply a door policy. You may be refused entry if you are wearing formal clothing (such as a suit or smart shirt), a football shirt, motorcycle club clothing or other group-affiliated clothing, or clothing with offensive or discriminatory text or symbols.
I was refused entry at the door. Will I get a refund?
Were you refused entry on the basis of the door policy, for example because you arrived with too large a group or because of your clothing? In that case, you will receive the ticket price (excluding service fees) back via the promoter. If the refusal was due to your own conduct or circumstances, for example because you were visibly under the influence, had no valid ID, were carrying prohibited substances or arrived late, no refund will be given. Tickets bought via TicketSwap will not be refunded; however, you can resell the unscanned ticket there. If you have been inside and were subsequently removed, you will also not receive a refund.
Can I pay by card or in cash?
Nxt Museum is cashless. You can pay by debit card, credit card or mobile.
Is food available?
At longer events, food is available to buy for part of the time.
Where am I allowed to smoke or vape? Can I buy cigarettes?
Smoking and vaping are only permitted in the designated outdoor smoking area. Nxt Museum does not sell cigarettes.
Where can I leave my coat and belongings?
You can store your coat and belongings in a locker, while stocks last. A locker measures 29 x 40 x 22 cm (width x depth x height). It fits 3 to 4 summer coats or 1 to 2 winter coats. A locker costs €10.00. You pay via a QR code, so please bring a phone with internet access. Do not store any valuables in it. Nxt Museum is not liable for loss, theft or damage to your belongings, including those kept in a locker. Items that are still in a locker after the event will be removed and treated as lost property.
May I take photos or film?
Photos and short videos taken with your phone for private use are permitted. Professional cameras, livestreams and the recording of complete sets are not permitted. The artworks and visuals are protected by copyright. Some events are phone-free; this will be stated on the event page. Please note: during events, we and the promoter take photos and videos ourselves, in which you may appear.
Can I also visit the exhibitions during the event?
No, unfortunately that is not possible.
Are earplugs available?
The music is loud. We strongly recommend that you wear earplugs and take occasional breaks in a quieter space. Earplugs are on sale during the events.
Is there a quiet or low-stimulus space?
Events at Nxt Museum may involve loud music, strobe lighting, projections and smoke effects. A low-stimulus space has been set up in the adjoining Café / Restaurant Metro. Follow the signs.
What is the drugs policy?
Nxt Museum has a zero-tolerance policy on drugs, including soft drugs and nitrous oxide. Drugs will be confiscated and we may involve the police. Dealing will always be reported to the police.
I do not feel well. Where can I go?
First aid is available at every event. Speak to a member of staff and we will take you there. Do not hesitate to ask for help, and do so in good time, for yourself or for someone else. That is what the team is there for. You can find tips on partying responsibly and safely at www.celebratesafe.nl.
I feel unsafe or see something that is not right.
We do not tolerate discrimination, intimidation or inappropriate behaviour. Speak to a member of staff or security immediately.
Is the venue accessible for people with a disability? May I bring my assistance dog?
The entrance and the access to the restaurant are not entirely level. Security will gladly assist you at the entrance and on the stairs to the restaurant. There is an accessible toilet. Please send an email in advance to ade@nxtmuseum.com, so that we can make sure someone is on hand and work out together what else is needed. Would you like to bring an assistance dog? Please also request this in advance via ade@nxtmuseum.com. We assess each request individually, taking into account the welfare of your dog and the loud noise during the event.
I have lost something. What should I do?
Send an email to ade@nxtmuseum.com with a description of the item, the date and the event. We keep lost property for a minimum of two weeks. Identity documents are handed over to the municipality or the police.
I have a complaint or would like to share my experience.
