Nxt Museum selects 3 artists
As part of World Summit AI, which took place at Zandaam’s Taets Arts & Event Park in October 2024, Nxt Museum curated three artists to be showcased at Prosus’ hub during the event.
Highlighting artists who redefine what AI art can be, we utilised our expertise to spotlight those working with photography and archival footage, as well as neural networks, large language models, and a blend of human and non-human imaginings.
Curated by Nxt, these artists form part of a growing body of selected works that the museum has carefully curated, expanding the exhibition space beyond the museum and towards new frontiers, featuring artworks for various events and spaces. Unlike the regular museum space, Nxt supports and encourages the exhibition of art in various spaces, making the art of the present accessible and visible in different types of settings. Commissioned by Prosus, these three artists were curated by our Arts and Culture team to present boundary-pushing artworks that use artificial intelligence and machine learning in innovative ways.
