Tales of Two introduces you to a new form of digital puppetry, where an ancient storytelling tradition meets contemporary technology. Instead of watching, you step into the role of puppeteer yourself and, through simple movements, control virtual characters inspired by traditional puppet theatre. Every encounter becomes a duet. Together with another player, you each control your own digital character. There is no fixed script; the story unfolds through the way you interact with each other. As you play, you travel through four different worlds, each with its own atmosphere and story.
About the artists
YONK is a 3D animation studio based in The Hague, founded by Niels van der Donk (b. 1992, NL) and Victoria Young (b. 1995, UK). With a playful and experimental approach, they bring a human touch to the digital world. Personality and imperfection matter more to them than polish or automation. Their work centres around expressive characters and vivid worlds, created using innovative tools such as VR sculpting. YONK invites you to explore, experiment, and play for yourself.
