You enter a room defined by sound. It moves around you, above you, through you, rainfall drifting past, rhythms drawing near, entire environments dissolving and reforming. There is no single point where the experience is best. Every spot is.
Origin is a collective composition by 4DSOUND that shifts between quiet and full, close and expansive, sparse and dense.
4DSOUND is a spatial audio engine and artistic instrument that allows artists, composers, and performers to work with sound as a sculptural medium. Origin marks 4DSOUND’s return to Amsterdam and its first museum presentation in the Netherlands.
