Industry leaders gather for an immersive celebration of keynote talks on AI innovation
To launch the 2025 edition of World Summit AI, global tech and science strategy group InspiredMinds! hosted a special evening takeover at Nxt Museum. The event brought together 250 guests from across the AI ecosystem for a night of keynote talks, networking, and immersive art.
Set within the museum’s high-tech, experiential spaces, the event bridged science and creativity—offering a space where researchers, founders, policymakers, and technologists could meet, share ideas, and celebrate the road to the October summit.
InspiredMinds! set out to create a memorable and meaningful launch moment ahead of World Summit AI. The goal was to unite a cross-disciplinary group of thinkers and doers—AI founders, government leaders, engineers, and entrepreneurs—in a space that reflected the ambition and openness of the community.
The event sought to inspire connection, spark conversation, and provide a backdrop worthy of the topics at hand – from open-source ethics and healthcare access to defence innovation and the future of regulation.
Guests arrived from 17:30 and were free to explore the museum’s main exhibition before a 30-minute speaker programme in Nxt Stage, featuring:
Thomas Wolf (Co-founder & CSO, Hugging Face) on the vital role of open-source AI
Sofie Berns (Head of Data Lab, Ministerie van Defensie) on ethical frameworks in defence
Babusi Nyoni (CEO, Sila Health) on AI-powered healthcare access in Africa
The conversation—chaired by Matthew Blakemore (CEO, AI Caramba!)—set the tone for the evening: thoughtful, global, and grounded in real-world impact.
From 19:00 onwards, guests gathered in the Stage and throughout the museum for drinks, music, and open conversation. Café-Restaurant Metro provided bites and a full bar service, creating a relaxed yet lively setting for informal exchanges across industries.
